Sorry about the one baby. I'd love to come see them in a few weeks.

Oh, I guessed the number...said it'd be 9 or 10. Poor Momma must be happy they are out.

Thank you, M.

Our big girl (one of M's previous foster pups, folks) is still doing great - she's so sweet, minds us like a dream, loves hide and seek, has neighbor doggie friends she looked forward to seeing on her walks. She's changed our lives! Dogs are like that.

Of course you can come see them, I moved a little farther north from where I was. I'm pretty tired now, it was a long night and morning.

...part....they have a small area where the wee ones who don't make it get their eternal rest.

Poor baby really never had a chance. That's why they have litters. If you can't accept that there will be losses, no matter what you do to try to prevent it, you can't help the rest of them/

She got picked up as a stray. I suspect that she escaped from a puppy mill because these pups look pure

17. That makes a lot of sense. That does NOT look like a litter of Heinz pups.

Poor mama. At least she'll have a much better life now. You're awesome for committing to this--it's a big responsibility to take on.

Mom looks like she is doing a fab job. Those pups will be all roly-poly with cute chubby bellies in no time.

So sad to hear about the one who didn't make it though.

Thank you for rescuing her and her babies. I would love to find a dog; our Golden died and it's hard to find puppies in Alaska.
take care !!
