Our Golden is going on 13 and fading, noticeably. We have been talking about what to do when he is gone.

We can't do another dog, sadly. But we can foster puppies, I think , and certainly have the room in the house.

I lost mine at 12. Pups are a lot of work, especially the last few weeks. And you need to be there a lot. They have to eat 3-4 times a day. And you have Mom too. It is a wonderful experience, just want to make sure you know what you are getting in to.
