There were a couple that were too funny not to endure the earpain. I may replay it muted.

(65,336 posts)3. I have four cats, and I sing VERY badly, yet none of my cats act like this, nor
have any of the cats I have had in the past.
When I sing, my cats don't seem to notice at all.

doesn't necessarily mean I'm good at it. And Siamese cats shouldn't be complaining about anybody else's voice. I know an opera singer whose Corgi howls whenever she practices; she thinks he's just trying to sing along.
In one case a woman warded off a mountain lion by singing opera:
Kyra Kopenstonsky was hiking a trail near Down Valley Park in Placerville, Colo., last week when she caught the attention of a mountain lion. The big cat reportedly stalked her for twenty minutes, often pouncing in front of her. Kopenstonsky brandished a branch to make herself appear larger, but when it didnt phase the cougar, she tried another tactic.
I dont know why, I just started singing opera really loud, Koestonsky told KUSA. It kind of put its ears down and just kept looking at me, and it sort of backed away. Then, it came around the bushes and came towards me again and crouched about 10 feet away.
Althoug Kopenstonskys singing didnt deter the big cat completely, it seems to have unsettled the feline long enough for the hiker to safely retreat.
