'Job well done': Virginia police dog needs just 15 minutes to find two lost children
Kristin Lam, USA TODAY Published 12:23 a.m. ET March 27, 2019

A Virginia police dog found two missing children lost in the woods this weekend, the Powhatan Sheriff's Office said.

As daylight faded, parents and neighbors spent 45 minutes searching for the two 8-year-old children on Saturday before calling officials.

The children got lost playing a "chase game," TV news station WRIC reported.

"We didn't know what to do," Chloe Reese told WRIC. "So, like we forgot which path we went down so we're like going through different paths trying to find the way back to our house."
