My feline niece Maggie went to the rainbow bridge today.
She had to go in the hospital earlier this week and wasn't getting better so my sister and brother in law decided it was time to let her go today.

She was a very lovely lass. 💜🐾

(18,470 posts)When she first came to live with my brother and sister in law she was a very shy girl but once she got to know someone she was a very loving furball.
Later on Maggie wasn't as shy - she wouldn't disappear for hours when strangers arrived like she did at first. I guess after my sister took her in she got a lot more human interaction and got used to it too.
For many years she looked and acted much younger than her actual age. She was already 12 when Marvel came into our lives and held her own with him and got him to understand that as cats got older they didn't want to play all the time. The two of them eventually became partners in crime and if there was any misadventures they were often both right at the center of it.
