Don't let your bare feet dangle outside your sheets when you sleep. Cats, especially kittens, don't seem to associate a moving foot as belonging to an owner. Toes are an easy target.

11. I've always found it fascinating that a creature as furry and adorable as a kitten

also has those murderous pointy bits. And grown-up cats, who are also furry and sweet and adorable, have really terrifying teeth. Such a delightful irony of nature.

13. I was mauled today

Feral kitten I was taking home after her spay. She tolerated pets in her recovery cage for a couple of days, so I thought she’d be safe to pick up. Nope.
