The continuing saga of Sweet Judy Blue Eyes....

So last night the Mrs. and I were enjoying some Jameson on the back deck with the new kitten and arguing about what to name her. "I really like Mother Lovebone." "No. How about Maggie Mae." "I don't hate it. Sister Rosetta?" "Maybe. Layla would be cool." "How about Mother Lovebone?" "I said no!" etc, etc,

So the little one decides to jump off the porch and explore. Fuck me! And here's my 49 year old ass jumping of the deck that's 5' off the ground in flip flops. Still don't know how I didn't end up in the ER! Christ! So she jumps up on the wood pile at the edge of the forest. I run over and she bolts. Again, fuck me. She runs along the woodpile and starts climbing a tree! Dude! Are you kidding me? She got high enough that I'm gonna have to go get a ladder and fortunately, she scared herself enough to back down to where I could grab her. No more outside for you, Judy!

who ran straight up a pine tree 40 feet as a kitten and did not know that she was supposed to go down backward. My dad and I coaxed her. Fortunately there were many branches so she could sort of jump down to the next one. Then she was low enough my dad could nab her. SJBE sounds like a ham.
