My spouse and I foster kittens for several of the local rescue shelters. We specialize in bottle babies, sometimes just hours old.
The bigger kitten is Grace who is 4 months old now. We got her and her 2 brothers at 2 weeks old and decided to keep her.
The smaller kittens are 2 months old now. The tiger (Tony) is the largest of this intrigue and is enamored with Grace as she with him.
The calico (Miss Piggy) is the runt and popping into view is Jack Black. There is a fourth, Gandolf the Grey who was sleeping at time of filming.

(3,769 posts)We adopted a male six week old polydactyl kitten about six weeks ago.
We have established two year old spayed female.
The have begun wrestling like this the past week or so. Like your fur babies, there's no growling or hissing.Where does play end and aggression begin? The pro wrestling body slam moves are scary (for me!).
Should I be worried?
Kashkakat v.2.0
(1,752 posts)fighting would be accompanied with yowling, growling hissing, serious tail lashing, possibly escalating further to clawing, biting and bloodshed. As kittens get older & grow into teenage years what was play can in fact evolve into real aggression or fights for territory or whatever - doesnt always happen, but just something to be aware of. That's what prompted my question to an animal behaviorist, my two male cats were becoming increasingly vocal andit really was getting nasty. IMHO even minor skirmishes should be addressed & they shouldnt "just fight it out" - stress in cats can manifest in ways you dont want to have to deal with.
Probably more info than you wanted but oh well! Enjoy your kits.

(17,984 posts)By sheer force of will. I always had cats as a child. The last one was actually blue.
Thanks!

(3,406 posts)Id love to foster, but my husband could never give them up. He has severe COPD and our two kitties are his life. We adopted both from an overcrowded shelter. The 1st was recovering from pneumonia and gastritis, but really blossomed once adopted. The second was a captured feral 8 weeks old. A year later and she is a loving purr machine who is my husbands shadow. Stanley and Sophie are like therapy when my better half is having a bad day 😇
