(892 posts)Doggie ice cream sounds delish. Does Alfie have a favorite flavor?
I bet tearing up the cup just adds to his fun!

(17,422 posts)I wonder if Alfie will learn to do side eyes. With that face and those eyes it would be intense.
My neighbor's miniature Dachshunds are masters of the side eye.

(16,829 posts)And the blue eyes make him appear perpetually startled. Like "you want me to do WHAT?"
Maybe he'll do it as he gets older.

(16,829 posts)I heard that you double their weight at 16 weeks, which for Alfie would be 2x 30lbs. At 60lbs he would still be 10lbs bigger than his parents.
He was the biggest eater of the litter. I'm expecting him to be 65 lbs or so. That's still very large for an Aussie. He eats like a horse, and doesn't have an ounce of fat.
So, I just keep feeding him and he never says no thanks.

(16,829 posts)My last 2 dogs were around 65lbs, so I'm used to that. But I did think he'd be 50lbs, like his parents.

(51,569 posts)So nice and white and trimmed. My dog used to clean herself a lot, especially her toes. She was like a cat, not a Chihuahua.
