Any pet insurance recommendations?

I have a new puppy named Millie (almost 6 mos) that is a mixed breed (looks mostly like a black lab) and was considering signing up for pet insurance--after my expensive experiences with my buddy Hudson's cancer care.

Prices seem to range from $40-60/month and I'd love to hear actual experiences with different companies if anyone can share.

Thanks!

1. We should have gotten it for our cats. We got a dog (3ish) in November 2019

No problems so far.

3. Thanks!

The ones I've been considering are Truepanion, Healthy Paws, and Pumpkin (based on a site that lists different companies and their ratings---but those are so advertisement-heavy that I was worried about the trustworthiness of it all).

6. You're welcome.

But I hope others will also post their suggestions here.

4. What about asking your vet? They should at least know who pays.

5. I have a new vet

For my new puppy. Not totally committed to them yet, though. And I don't trust anyone--the vet could get a kickback from someone. I trust random DUers instead
