1. Wish I had such a beautiful dining partner!

Plus, your dining conversation can be on ANY subject you want and you will still get that same look!

2. That is why I long ago trained my pup that if she sat politely and without begging that...

immediately after finishing she'd be awarded the dish or bowl to lick out (and I typically leave more than just a bit of residue). She knows she will get it, so she's become content. That's why we have automated dishwashers after all, right?... and no pre-rinsing needed.

6. I know. They don't mind looking needy. Cats on the other hand just make demands

20. Cats don't beg. They just snatch the food off your plate and run away.

7. When my 4 kids were younger, my old dog knew she wasn't supposed to beg at the table, but

she knew that if she laid under the table, sooner or later one of those kids was going to drop something and she would be right there to snatch it up.

9. We used to have one of those appealing beggars.

Now we have only a cat. But he is a great cat.

10. The poor thing looks famished...

Really REALLY (evidently) needs something to eat.

Mine does the same thing.

19. My cat used to steal the bacon I cooked. I accused my husband of snitching it 4 years

until I caught my cat in the act. They really are masterful at snitching food.

15. We love Dogs

We never eat a bite without the company of our two girls........they don't beg but they are as close to the table as possible, just in case!!! We are so fortunate to have them.
