He has a human who adores him and worshipps the ground he walks on.

He wasn't named after Shakespeare's Othello.

He was named after the game with the little black and white chips. They were white on one side,black on the other.
Because Othellos back and outer legs and head is black and his neck,chest and body belly up is white. Like an Othello chip.
