Our momma rat terrier is failing

Her name is Cookie.

She's old. She's getting week.

She doesn't seem to be suffering at all, and her appetite is still very good.

But... she takes a lot longer to get around when we take her for walks, and twice this week I had to bring her up the porch steps after I had let her out to go potty.

I'm feeling like I have to brace myself for her passing.

The passing of our 4 legged family members is, of course, just as difficult as the passing of our 2 legged members.

3. I'm in the same situation with our girl. She'll be 18 in July.

She’s blind in one eye and partially deaf. Sleeps a lot and seems be experiencing some form of dimension. Physically she has no major health issues.

two weeks ago. Same scenario. One day he refused to eat and had a different look in his eyes. We knew. Such a sad decision. My heart goes out to you.

If she is eating well & doesn't seem to be in pain, you are good for now.

Ask vet about cold laser treatments for arthritis! Really helps!
