One day I will just say no people food to our pups

I’m weak when it comes to their eyes the pups so today is not the day that I say no never happen on being a hard ass. Vanilla wafers and peanut butter, our thirteen year old golden woke up do I smell tummy yummies, and then boog the ten year old menace to society. And the our fourteen month old golden retriever pup, ok man share I’m sitting at fourteen months old pack rules I need treat. For man to say no is going to take a lot I’m a sucker.

1. I try to have dog biscuits with me when we eat.

They seem to be okay with it, I think. Remember, the operative word is “try”.

2. I restrict it to homemade yogurt and licking off plates--haven't had to pre-wash in years!

Oh, ok. Sometimes I save the very LAST bite for them, but I try to keep it manageable.

We started the last boy on no people food.

Here in Costa Rica dogs can go everywhere including restaurants. So although we didn’t start him on people food, the general public did cuz he’s such a nice boy.

So now expects food.

5. All food is dog food. A lot things that ain't even food is dog food. There are times it is better ..

... I do not know what the hell it is he just et. Or why he absolutely had to roll in it first. I do not need to know what, and it's a cinch Jack the Dog doesn't even know why.

But he can herd cats, and he wants a crack at herding up the buffalo down the lane.

The 8' tall telephone pole fence posts on 10' centers with 12 strands of wire, tell me this would not be a casual enterprise. I know they crowded a corner last year and a bull walked through and walked away. There was no attempt at cowboying him and taking him back. The owner hired a hunter, and it took a couple of days to get the bull into a kill shot situation.

I'm told once they get out, there's no keeping them in even if they could get them back in.

So Jack was ready, but my inexperience at working him could have got him kilt. Plus, I mighta gotten us both shot by the rancher.
