So we brought him home and he was the most timid, scared little guy we ever got. He didnt want to leave the cat carrier for two days. And hes way too little to have been abused. I just chalked it up to a timid personality.
Day 3 someone flipped a switch and the Siamese crazy came out! I was on the road all day and the Mrs. told me she decided on Otis. A few hours later she told me that aint gonna work. Hes out of his mind. Running around, chasing and scaring all the much larger cats. Including The Beans. Shes the alpha queen around here. Didnt believe it until I got home and saw it with my own eyes.
Hed kinda sidewinder in her direction and then stand on his back legs with his front paws raised. Funniest thing ever! And The Beans was all, knock it off, youre freaking me out!
So last night Im trying to go to sleep and hes jumping off the top of the couch onto me like some kinda wrestler. And then attacking my hands. This kitten is nuts! Hes our 9th so believe me, no exaggeration. LOL!
Sooooo, Otis didnt fit. Hes not really a sitting on the dock of the bay kinda cat. Hes more of a crazy heavy metal bass player type.
We named him Lemmy!

(11,683 posts)It is the one where George has the statue stolen. The character of "Rava" was a real bitch in the episode. That was the joke, my "Rava was a little bitch!', even though my dog was a sweetie!

(31,798 posts)I love Siamese cats. If my husband wasn't allergic, our Maltese would have a Siamese and a Scottish Fold for playmates.

(8,201 posts)He was a hellion until we got him neutered. Now he's a velcro kitty, with the sweetest gallop when we come home.
He's a cuddler with the other cats, too.
And here he is in his early hellion days:
know how many times I saved a couple of my lamps from our current cat when she was a kitten. She would be darting full speed ahead through the house right toward the lamp I was sitting by! Luckily the only time she would do it was when I was sitting by it and I could reach out and save it or stop her😂

(67,782 posts)....and hid for four days. He only came out for food and other things when we weren't in the room.
Finally after four days he came out and climbed onto my lap! He's been around us ever since.

(21,420 posts)They take time to adjust to new surroundings. But once they do, their energy and capacity for mischief are boundless. They do mellow a bit when they mature, and can be very cuddly when they feel like it, but they're clever and active as adults, too.
