Related: About this forumI bought, and ASSEMBLED a cat tree, today
No written instructions - just a diagram and everything in metrics. Ok, that wasn't really an issue. Regardless, I had to back track at least twice because, well, no written instructions. The kittens are already going to town, which makes me SOOOO happy. I bet this is where they will spend most of their day. In the Spring I plan to have the 3 season room finally emptied of 'family estate stuff' and move the tree and other cat related things, there. It's a big, airy room that leads to the screened in porch. Ideal for felines.
Sophie is still in the "I don't recall you ever buying ME a cat tree!!" stage, right now.

(26,262 posts)It took them a few minutes to figure out what it was, but then they zoomed up. Madoc likes the little hammock. Right now Morgan is sticking to the top level.
I put one together a few months ago for our cats.
They love the thing

(13,583 posts)was glad I waited. It was six feet tall, assembled and about 90 bucks.
I drug that sucker in, my cat Silver sniffed at it, then zoomed to the top! She's on it quite a bit. More since I moved it to have a great view out a window.

(26,262 posts)It's a small, high window and the top tier of this cat tree will make for perfect viewing

(11,686 posts)The first few I had I got help with so the last few I was able to figure it out on my own. Well, written direction aren't really much better for me. I just get help first. Getting the same brand also helps.
I get trees every 2 years as they start looking bad and you can only touch them up so far.
My cats ignore it for a couple of day then I catch them playing on it and then they own it.

(15,523 posts)the kittens spend of the tree, the less time they'll be pestering Sophie to play.
She's been doing really well, lately. She's eating and the stress grooming has really diminished. I noticed, today, how her fur is starting to return to normal.
