Related: About this forumSophie just had her first flea bath, and I lived to tell about it
She was pretty squiggly and vocal, at first, but then she seemed to start to begrudgingly enjoy the process. Especially the rinse off with the shower head setting on 'massage'.
I'd been so focused on the kittens, I hadn't paid nearly close enough attention to her, and it was getting bad, despite using a flea medication. Now I know why I was having such a struggle getting things under control. So, we will start from scratch (no pun intended) and she will get groomed just as often as the kittens do. More vacuuming, more steam cleaning, and more spraying. And, I'm ordering food grade Diatomaceous Earth from Home Depot.
The kittens get their next treatment in 3 weeks.
Is it too early for a glass of Pinot Grigio? Probably.

(16,999 posts)Thats about the life cycle of a flea. It just kills the larva not the adults. Best stuff I ever got. The place I was living at the time had wall to wall carpet everywhere. A week after I used it the fleas were gone for good.
