(102,792 posts)It's a Full moon! The cat in this house is currently resting to have energy to dash from window to window, keeping me awake all night. Or more like waking me up all night since he makes some loud sound each time I drift off.
Then about ten minutes before I have to get for my morning dash to the restroom, he gets all comfy around my waist holding me down and grumbling when I move him. Either way, we're up by 5 and starting the day. I also will go back to bed for a couple hours if I'm still tired after he gets fed.
He goes back to his mom's in a couple weeks, I I'll miss him for the first couple weeks. This isn't the best place for a pet, no yard, but it was about the only option for him given the circumstances.

(27,834 posts)Nothing was safe - not my toes, not my knees, and he even did an impressive leap at my head, fortunately with his little claws retracted. I escaped to do a little moon gazing.
He's pretty playful this morning, too.
Now I have to go reassemble the little feathered teaser sticks on the cat tree he pulled out, last night and get ready to feed the ferals. I know they are already out there, sitting on the porch step, their hungry little faces gazing at the door, waiting to see me with their food.
