A Happy Kitten Story

I thought I’d post a wonderful true kitten story to make you smile.

First of all, I live in the country with 7 cats, three big dogs, six goats, two miniature donkeys and three llamas.

A couple of weeks ago, my son was walking by the animal barn snd heard a strange noise. Upon further inspection, he found a very tiny kitten underneath the feeding trough. How she got there and how she didn’t get hurt by the farm animals is something she’s not telling.

I took her to the vet. She was healthy, was about six weeks old, and only weighed 1.6 lbs. A tiny thing.

She’s now a part of my family and has fit right in. She knows no fear and is a ball of energy. Her name is Cleo Jessamine (all of my cats have middle names.)

I was going to post a picture, but realized I don’t know how.

Thank you. She’s got a good home here. My dogs, who are two Great Pyrenees and a Newfie mix, have already identified her as part of the flock. She’s now under their protection.

Well, I read the instructions for posting, and thank you for that. The picture is in my photos on my phone, which I am using. I’m not technically savvy on this, so I’m a little lost. But I’ll keep trying.

I use a cable that came with the camera phone to do that. Plug the cable into a USB port on the computer with the phone on, and the computer should recognize a new connection.

Anyway I hope you can have success!

You can always come on over to the Photo Group (https://www.democraticunderground.com/?com=forum&id=1036) and ask. We are a friendly bunch!

This works if you receive your mail at the same address on your phone and computer.

And your other critters. The only ones we don't have are the llamas.

Hooray for Cleo Jessamine!

I still haven’t figured out how to post Cleo’s picture, but I’ll work on it tomorrow.

Thank you for all the help. I will figure it out.

I’ve been following DU since the Bush years. I value everyone and all I have learned here.

Once I learn how to post pictures, you’ll probably meet all my many critters.

Again, thank you.

I'm glad she's already trained you to let her on the table.
(Mine are all allowed on the table, too. )

I hope you share many happy years together!

She’s actually up n my sideboard which is about 5’, but she accessed it by going up the back of a recliner. She is absolutely fearless.
