Last night, just as I was drifting off, he stretched out and put his little paw in my hand. Then we both fell asleep.
Gryff was on duty at the foot of the bed, probably guarding my feet from any potential middle of the night puma pounces.

(13,571 posts)adopted the cat we have now, the first night she slept between my husband and my head purring all night! Unfortunately he had to go to work the next day with little sleep because of that little purr machine!

(12,480 posts)Would sleep stretched out against my chest under the covers during the night. His fur was so soft .I dont wear a shirt when I sleep. I wrapped my arms around him and we went to sleep as he purred.
Eventually my hands got hot under the blanket. So I moved them out
When I woke up his paw was in my hand every morning and I had cat spit on my chest and neck. Sparkle drooled in his sleep sometimes.
I so miss my Sparkle cat.
He was my soul cat,he and Rustle.

(113,595 posts)My cats are learning the hard way not to run at me during my daily jog :-/...they have found out the hard way (much to my chagrin) that it is not a game and that the strange, somewhat ungainly cat who shares their home cannot come to a screeching halt in a hurry and may accidentally run into them without meaning to. I had to soothe them with cheese and fish.

(16,829 posts)Another dog parent had brought dog cookies to day care. I gave him the dog cookie and he hid it under his dog bed. The next day after eating he pulled it out from under the dog bed and ate it, like he had saved it for dessert!
