Related: About this forumOne of my biggest challenges, right now, is trying to stay one step ahead of the boys.
For example, if I want to keep a glass of ice water bedside, at night, I have to use a drinking cup with a lid to keep Madoc from washing his paws in it, or fishing out the ice cubes so he can chase them around any flat surface.
Gryff's big thing, right now, is he will stretch out flat against the last step and wait for me to come along. He thinks he's invisible so I have to pretend I'm going to step on him and then let out a little cry of surprise. Weird, I know, but he gets up and scampers down the hallway. If he could giggle, I'm sure that's what he'd be doing.

(4,582 posts)Without a lid next to your bed ever again. Im now on 18 years drinking out of a cup with a lid in my house. When they get older, its no longer a play toy, its their water bowl. Theyll stick their head down in there and drink!
cat that does that to my husband if he sits at the table with a cup of water. She prefers a cup to a water bowl.

He'd take that straw outof my drink,my iced coffee, and he did it so quietly and hed do it when the cup was right next to
you,I dunno how he did it,but he did.
One day I pulled out the fridge to clean behind it and there must have been 200 straws back there.

(27,901 posts)It started when I still had all four kittens. One of them got ahold of a straw and all four loved playing with it. Madoc will just pluck them out of my glass and take off with it. Gryff loves to play with straws but he leaves it to Madoc to acquire them.
