(27,834 posts)Now he likes to sit in my lap while he washes himself and grooms, and then he dozes off. He seems to really be taking advantage of me being off my feet with a sore knee!
Our lynx point kitty Cocoa still thinks he can be a shoulder cat. (Could be worse, though; when I was a kid we had an Irish Setter who when he was a puppy got the idea into his head that he was a lap dog, and we never could get that idea out of his head....)

But his timing was off imo. Waaaay too early.
Sounds like a great day for a cup of cocoa or tea & a snooze, cold as it is there!

(27,834 posts)I'm going to time feeding the ferals with when the mail arrives so that I just have to go outside once, this afternoon. It is brutal out there but at least the sun is shining.

(27,834 posts)And Gryff is just a bit bigger but definitely heavier. He's a solid, muscular little panther.
It's so funny to remember that I used to carry all four kittens, two in each hand.
