7. I had a choice between him and his ginger sister.

I LOVE ginger cats but for some reason I felt Gryff was the right choice. OK, it helped that he snuggled right up to me. And I know that black cats are often the last adopted - I can't understand why. I think they are so elegant.

And they did find a great home for his sister. I checked when I took the boys in to be neutered. If she was still there, I was going to take her home.
