Madoc got a rude surprise today, when he thought he was stealing some butter

There was the remnants of a stick of Crisco in the plastic container that looks a LOT like the butter 'dish'. Madoc jumped up on the counter, knocked it to the floor, pulled back the foil and took a lick. But just one. Such disappointment!!

Meanwhile, I'm hiding the Molasses Crinkle Cookies I made, using said Crisco, in the microwave so that he doesn't do any revenge eating.

I love this recipe. It's the original from the 'Brer Rabbit' molasses bottle. VERY easy and they turned out great - crispy edges and slightly chewy centers.
