I don't know about love bites...my cat bites for real and leaves me bloody. I don't think that qualifies as love, at least not in any healthy sense.

love to lick my face and rub their cheeks all over my glasses. Having my kitties lying on my chest and purring is a precious feeling that puts me into a relaxed state similar to that I can only reach with deep meditation.

My girl loves licking my bald head with her sandpaper tongue. When she is really showing her affection to me she gives me little flea bites or nibbles.
