I have listed Snowflake on an adoption site.

I'm now caregiver for a cancer patient and anticipate being away for a week at a time. Surgery was day surgery and recovery is very good but next comes radiation and chemo. I have someone to care for Snow over the back fence but she tends to dig out of the yard if left alone for more than two nights. I can take Jack with me and he's actually a pretty good emotional support dog.

She is listed on TAGG rescue. I'll update when we have interviews.

I keep thinking about snowflake ever since when you describe her one day in another post Snowflake seemed laid back it seemed sounded so perfect. Not so sure about the digging out. But yes we are states apart. I will continue to watch for the one for me here.

Let us know how she fares.

I know you're putting Snowflake's needs first, but my god it must be hard to part with her. Maybe, maybe there is someone who could foster her temporarily?

And the person you're caring for is lucky to have you. I hope the outcome is good.

I'm old, single and not a suitable herd for her to care for and watch over. My yard is too small as well. It got to the point that I couldn't put it off anymore.

A few months ago I rescued a local stray cat and adopted him out to a sweet young couple. Today the couple made my day by sending me a photo of him laying on his back, showing his belly, eyes closed in bliss. It made my day to know he had a better home than I would have been able to give him. (I've already got five and couldn't have devoted the time to him that he deserves.)

I hope that when Snowflake gets adopted that you'll get some photos too from time to time.
