My neighbours have Covid
We've grieved, celebrated a couple of pets each in the ten years we've lived next door to one another. Gibby came to live with me at about the same time that Sue and Steve adopted Nugget, a tall and sleek greyhound.
It was love at first sight! We use the dogs' affection for each other as an excuse to have regular bottles of wine together. This past week Nugget has been coming in to my place for a playdate with Gibby, then I take the odd couple for a walk around the back lanes that are incredibly interesting 'cos they're full of mice, cat poo and KFC bones.
