Adorable kittens, everyone loves them! 🐈‍⬛🐈❤️❤️

But let's not forget about the cats that produced those innocent kittens. Feeding strays and ferals, and adopting their kittens is kind. But in the long run, just feeding those adults without neutering/spaying is ultimately cruel. Please, please look into available TNR resources when feeding and caring for stray cats. This organization is very helpful, you can also Google local rescues in your area.

This is my rescue cat's before and after photos. He was definitely not a cute, cuddly kitten when adopted! It took many months for him to get healthy. But it was so worth it!
Wishing peace and love to all who care for innocent, sentient animals ❤️

3. Thanks! He was actually a small, starving near adult. Our vet estimated about 9-11 months old.

He was hospitalized for GI infections, pneumonia and parasites. It was awful, but he was a fighter. He is 6 years old now and we adopted a sister kitten for him from a shelter 2 years ago. They love each other and bring us so much joy! My husband is disabled with severe COPD and doesn't go out much. The cats keep him going and provide lots of purr & snuggle therapy every day.

this time of year. Most shelters are at capacity. My husband and I are going to foster a few and we donate what we can afford to a local free/low cost neuter program. Breaks my heart to see them.

It's so hard to let them go, but so rewarding because each one that moves on makes room to take in another precious life. I am still in touch with someone who adopted a cat we rescued over 10 years ago and they are also fostering now. Kindness is truly contagious.

Gandhi preached, “I hold that the more helpless a creature, the more entitled it is to protection by man from the cruelty of man.”. Too bad this country doesn't protect our innocent children as well!
