Related: About this forumI was scrolling through some old photos and found one of Madoc as a tiny kitten
This was taken just around the time I found him and his siblings. He still had that sad expression in his eyes. Compared to what he's growing in to, wow!

(26,262 posts)Gryff can be a little rough. He made Arthur squeak, this morning. Not sure what happened and there was no damage. I think he just landed on him a little too hard. Arthur crawled up on my lap for some reassurance, and then fell fast asleep.
The kittens will curl up next to both boys, but more often it's Madoc they gravitate to. Gryff is fine with that because he likes to curl up on or next to me.

(3,327 posts)You've given him a fun, warm, happy, stable, home, with a couple of pals, and the best kitty mom ever. Now he's thriving, just "living the life of- Riley ". He's a beautiful cat.

(638 posts)He wasn't as young but his coloring is quite similar. Four months later, another dumped-by-a-cretin showed up and soon she'll be back with us (less than a year old and of course pregnant). Our county has numerous low-cost/no-cost spay/neuter programs and those that don't do so just piss me off. Two other felines have been roaming the neighborhood - thankfully I have another cat loving neighbor so we both watch out for "at large" felines. There is a special place in hell for those mistreat animals. During my lifetime (starting at age four), most of my pets have been rescues, two from the local shelter. The joy and pleasure they've given/are giving me cannot be understated.
