Some bats have big ears. Some, tiny ones.

6. Ember was like that until

she was almost a year old. Her ears were bigger than her face. Tail was also longer than her body.

Then the face grew and the body lengthened to give her normal proportions. The ears are still a bit larger than average, but not huge anymore.
