Those poor ferals, today.
We've been getting some really heavy rain, this morning. A few minutes ago I looked out the front door to see if it has let up. There was little Scooter, soaking wet, looking up at me with a 'I'm so hungry' look on her sweet little face. I usually feed them at about 5:45 and it was well past 6.
So, I got the food ready, pulled on my wellies, and headed out into the MUCH lighter rainfall. Mittens the Kitten greeted me, as usual, and she was equally drenched. They were a sad sight. Skittish was crouched down beneath a shrub but I'm sure she was equally wet. No sign of Spooky.
Fortunately it's pretty warm - about 62 - and I think the rain should end before afternoon.
