When mine is nowhere to be seen and I call for her but she does not show up, I start searching. I check the bedroom, under the bed, in the closet. Then to favorite spots like under my desk, etc.

At some point when I stand still and turn in various directions, I discover that she is right behind me and has probably been following me, wondering what new search-for-the-toy game we are playing.

I'm pretty sure Willow does this on the regular. We'll be looking high and low trying to find her, and then, all of a sudden, there she is.
