Well, today Madoc learned there is a weight limit to the upper level of the space ship

I looked up to see it leaning, leaning, LEANING, followed by a collapse with Madoc trapped inside. It was so much fun convincing him to release his claws from the corrugated scratch pad floor so I could extract him without doing even MORE damage.

So now it is reinforced with much packing tape. I'm talking packing tape wrapped around it, top to bottom. I might add more. It's Arthur's favorite place to chill.

I'd love something like this made out of a more substantial material. I'd put it outside for the ferals.

6. Are you or your brother handy with tools?

If so, you might make one out of wood. Might need to seal it against getting warped by rain and snow. And it might not look like a spaceship, but it could be something like a condo with 2 or 3 layers (broad enough base to support a 3rd layer). Maybe some layers of soft cloth to curl up on inside. A platform outside of it for their dishes.

Any sort of sustainable structure would do, just fine.

for the ferals for winter.
