My daughter’s 17-yo cat died last August. Her cat and our cat could never see eye to eye, and since our cat (Cece, a tuxedo) had seniority in the house, my daughter’s cat Lola had to be confined to her bedroom (but at least there was an attached catio).

I got my daughter a new cat for Christmas (see previous threads), a tortoiseshell/calico - Maisie - and we’ve been slowly introducing them to each other.

Today, they are together in the hallway between our two bedrooms.

Serious progress.
