old man is doing well.

he seems mostly unfazed now. healing up well. you can see a couple incisions. still a little angry looking but better every day.

11. Oh my goodness, lil Hot Lips has grown so fast ! Puppies are so cute, but there's something

so relaxing and soul reaching about older animals. They just seem to "Get" what you are thinking and need. Hope the surgical incisions on old man heal quickly without any problems; love that face with the tongue showing.

Will you be getting Hot Lips spayed, or raising some pups from her? She looks like a valuable well bred dog

12. i'm mulling it over.

never even considered it before but this is the best bred dog i’ve ever even known. and that’s so sadly rare these days. they have long acting bc now, so i plan to keep the option open.
she’s just amazing. down to her teeth and coat.

13. old man is healing up rly, rly well.

hasnt poked at the wounds once. he has 1 that is on his chest, so he lays on it. it bruised up badly, but the incision is clean and healing well.
i was worried that hot lips would want to at least examine them, at least, but she hasnt.

i do love the old man, but i do hate watching them get old. as soon as they start to get grey, i start to grieve in advance. i hate they have such short life spans. but he’s doing rly well for a big dog. all my dogs get pretty old, so i should just lighten up.
