Kitten-sitting

My local cat rescue group asked me to keep four 8-wk-old abandoned kits for a week or two 'til they could make room for them. One had to be bottle fed for a few days. It's been a pretty sweet week.

I know all kittens are cute but something about these tiny faces with those big eyes really gets to me. Plus the one bottle baby thinks I'm her mom now.

12. That's Freya

I found her, as a kitten, on the roof of my catio last spring. Fell from heaven, she did. I wrote about it here back then but can't find the link right now. She's so pretty, even the vet remarked on what a looker she is back when we went in for shots and such.

13. Yeah, it won't be easy

But, since I already have 12 inside, and another 5 living in the yard, it's just really not feasible. Unless I win a million in the lottery and could buy a huge house or island somewhere. Cause I sure would fill it up with kitties. And a few dogs, just for fun.
