Related: About this forumYes, it appears I'm a Mom of 6.
I moved one of the playpens to the shade of the Maple tree. It can easily be moved back to the enclosed porch. So when Tudor is outside he will either be on my lap, within my sight or in the playpen.
Most fortunately he still has Rhys, Dylan and Merlin for playmates. Eventually, but very slowly, he will meet the big kidcats. They've accepted each other so well, I'm optimistic Tudor will be loved by all.
So, life does throw some unexpected curves but the bond I formed with this sweet baby, last Tuesday morning, well, I've joyfully accepted that it is unbreakable.

(26,277 posts)Well, me with Madoc. Not so much Madoc with me. He tried to run away. He was 4 weeks old. Arthur and this boy were fresh arrivals.
I'm not sure if he is missing his siblings/mom or not. He is very softly meowing. When he was looking for me his meow is SO loud.
Rhys, Merlin and Dylan are all napping somewhere. As soon as they show up, things will get crazy. He has been wandering around, within eye sight, of course. But he seems to like curling up on my lap. Fortunately he lets me know when he needs to tend to, um, personal business.

(560 posts)the karma of LOVE
As a 10 year-old, I had the honor of helping our cat give birth to 5 beautiful kittens.
Some white like her - some gray, like (we presume) the dad. One - "Fluffy" - seemed to be a combination the two; he became my favorite.
Sadly, we lived in an apartment complex that didn't allow them - and within a few months a malicious neighbor ratted on us, and we were forced to relinquish them.
I don't think I received anything karmically for it (au contraire). But I do hope that when I leave this rotten world, I might see them again.

(387 posts)In every single photo you share with us you can see the acceptance and love that they share with you. That is a remarkable accomplishment to get all these feral kittens and mothers to form that bond of trust. You have a special gift, and thanks for sharing that with all of us.

(34,112 posts)it hit me right in the heart. There is something very special there. I am thrilled that he has you and will be loved his whole life. They are all special but some of them just know they want you and you know you want them and the bond is made. I could not be smiling any bigger than I am right now.

(26,277 posts)They get along so great.
Hopefully I can get Tudor introduced to and accepted by the indoor kidcats. I've managed to do it 4 times so I'm pretty confident.
He's so tiny, it might just confused them.
