Tudor and Dylan had a good night. Me? not so much.

I was covered in kidcats and it was a HOT night. That's OK. Once I got them rearranged, things were fine. I should have switched on the AC.

I put Dylan outside at 6 and took Tudor out for some fresh air and a sniff around. Then, in to the guest room.

Sian and Arthur have given him the predictable hiss. Madoc saved that for Tudor's scent on my hand. Gryff? Not sure where he is and Carys is her usual elusive self.

As long as he can see me, Tudor is quite calm. Right now he's in a mesh sided carrier on a tray table, right next to me, fast asleep. I also have a small animal 'crate' but he's so small, he can almost squeeze through the little open squares.

In a short while he will be getting a flea bath. I'll make sure the water is nice and warm. Then this afternoon we will head to the veg garden so I can do some weeding and pick tomatoes to stew. He can run free since it's fenced in.

What I'm hoping is that Sian accepts him so she can spend time with him in the guest room. There's water, a litter box, and a few toys.

One interesting thing I noticed. Once he could smell that there are cats in the house, he stopped shivering. I knew he wasn't cold so I figured it was a nervous reaction to this new world.

So, wish me luck and send some good behavior vibes to the kidcats.

This is a good lesson for them in seeing what you do and that they are lucky because they are in the house. It's serious dynamic that they will get to varying degrees.

And kudos to you for your diligence in caring for the outside babies on your doorstep! You have a handful right now but it's also good that you have the time and resources to do it. If I had the space, I'd be doing exactly the same thing. But we don't have many feral cats around here due to the fact that they usually become prey to coyotes, foxes and large birds.
