This is my boy, Bruiser.
When my female, Milan, got pregnant before we could get her spayed, he was the last born in her litter. Bruiser kept stealing the nipple from his runt brother, CJ. I had to stay up for 48 hours, making sure CJ could finally latch on and get nourishment. I kept telling Bruiser, to quit being such a big bruiser to his older, but littler, brother. The name stuck, but he's such a handsome sweetie pie. He and CJ still have a contentious relationship.
Oh, we kept the whole litter of four. Guilt? Maybe. But mostly cuteness and love overload.

Mom is a Yorkshire terrier/Shih Tzu mix. (On bottom.)
jeez, mom dog is totally in centerfold pose right there! No wonder dad dog has pups, what with that action happening!
