Another big step forward for Merlin

13. When I'm home he has full run of the den

I think the more the big kid cats see him acting like a cat, the sooner they will accept him - especially now that he's bigger and VERY active.

He still goes in to the playpen when I'm gone and at bed time.

10. Accepting their role...

Arthur and Gryff have definitely accepted and welcomed Merlin into the family!

12. At one point Madoc made an appearance but didn't join the cuddle puddle.

He's no longer showing any sort of displeasure about Merlin being here. He gives him a few sniffs and then just leaves.

After I put Merlin in his playpen for the night, Arthur now has taken back his spot sleeping against my back and Gryff on the pillow, above my head. I'm hoping Madoc will soon reclaim his space, right behind my knees.

14. You must be nice and warm at night, as well as pinned down.

A 10 pound cat on a blanket feels like a 30 pound kettle bell - you can move the blanket for anything.
