The amount of food Batty my baby tortoise goes through.

I would say is unbelievable. But most animals that graze have to eat a lot. A 3” long piece of romaine just the center part left. A couple celery ends with leaves gone. Spinach and collard greens gone. Plus some leaves from a packaged spring salad mix gone. The pile was wider and taller than Batty. Now it’s just a few remnants of the original pile.

My cat is named Wolfie because when he was a newly adopted hungry stray, he wolfed down his food. Baby Batty sounds like my Wolfie!

I had no idea that they would follow fellow critters around if given the opportunity!

What a surprise!

Thanks!
