Rhyming with the Crusades

Today a malignant narcissist has spiritual power over an ignorant cult willing to engage in violence.
I saw parallel lines as I watched a Wondrium lecture yesterday.

In 1095, Pope Urban II, at Clermont, promised land, wealth, remission of sins, and salvation to ANY POS willing to pillage and slaughter Muslims, and the so-called “Crusades” began. What was accomplished?

—Rhineland massacres/atrocities against Jews
—pillaged neighbor cities
—murdered over 10,000 ankle-deep in cold blood at the temple in Jerusalem
—sacked Constantinople, their Byzantine ally, guaranteeing irreparable church schism
—sacrificed their children by sending thousands of 7-14 year olds to the Kingdom of Jerusalem because they were pure of spirit—most died or were taken into slavery
—national treasuries were depleted and art was destroyed
—China surged ahead technologically
—Venice rose as the prominent mafia state
—Enduring enmity

We lost two hundred years the first time
