Book rec: "Putin's People" describes how the KGB (later FSB) dispersed Soviet assets through various banks and

"private" companies, mostly in Europe. The book is a few years old, but surprisingly little is changed -- a few defenestrations, other assassinations, and long prison sentences for the insufficiently cooperative.



Of course, after Putin is gone, we'll learn from the Russian archives just how much Trmp became involved in this chicanery.
