1. I saw this on a documentary

from the Military Channel (Discovery).

As much as I hate the Discovery network(s), the Military Channel did a great job of exposing the crimes, and the Wereth 11 were shown as victims of horrible, terrible crimes.

Utterly brutal what they went through before they died. (I refuse to relate what I saw/heard. I'm still trying to grasp the whole thing.)

Shocking. Just freaking inhumane.

ps: I wonder if maybe this was payback for Jesse Owens in the 1936 Olympics, as an embarrassment to the "3rd Reich" mentality of the time. "Blackies" are inferior and all that. I dunno, I'm white. Just an idea.

The argument that they we're killed by the SS to avoid taking prisoners seems to me quite a stretch.
