Ontario privacy watchdog takes legal action against Toronto police: Star Exclusive

There is alot more to this you can be sure. Imagine the notations or suggestions by an undercover officer, without a trial or guilty charges and how this can impact your life?

This is key:

Last week, the Star reported there were more than 420,000 people in CPIC who were not convicted of a crime as of 2005 including nearly 2,500 with a notation for “attempt suicide” and another 2,200 noted for “mental instability.”

420,000 who haven't even been convicted of a crime are in CPIC database. That is a staggering number for a country the size of Canada. I hope the anger and drive for accountability continues to grow. This impact employability, education pursuits, your entire life.
