Fuck you Chuck Todd and MTP Daily! They just had a former DEA guy on spouting reefer madness

Todd didn't even debate him.
Just let him go off on how bad cannabis is and it's still a federal illegal drug and fuck you.
No counterpoint, alternative spokesman to debate any points
Just 8 minutes of anti drug legalization pro drug war bullshit
Chuck Todd you are an asshole.

Can we argue that NOT doing it makes you stupid, an asshole, and a shitty musician to boot?

I think Gary Johnson's problems have to do with ingesting Ayn Rand, not THC.

the guy was right in that mj is still a sched 1 drug, that only an executive order is holding back doj, and that EVERYTHING can change under a new administration.

It needs to be descheduled, and banking rules need to change.

He was repugnant, but he was right about the current split brained situation.

he wanted the good old days when you could pull a felony for a few seeds and flakes.

But, he inadvertantly pointed out that we are not in a good place at the fed level. the only reason the states can set their own rules is because this administration allows it. Another (trumpos) wouldn't.

We have to change the laws, not just the rules.

And no, I don't smoke. I get tested frequently for work.

the classification and the money laws need to change. research needs to be funded. taxes need to be paid.

refusing to allow sales. Counties will determine whether or not to allow local access (consider that dry counties exist today-- many years after alcohol prohibition ended). We have counties here in Oregon that decided not to allow sales. Of course they don't get a share of the tax revenues generated by legal cannabis, but that's their loss.

Citizens of every state wishing to enjoy legal cannabis must do the difficult work of building local support and getting the facts out, regardless of whether or not use is legalized at the federal level.

about the old movie Reefer Madness yesterday during our walk. I mentioned it was from the 1940s or 1950s. She didn't realize pot went back that far. Actually I looked up the movie date, and it was 1936 (80 years of drug policy insanity).

The Federal Law needs to be changed ASAP! If we get a President who isn't a Dem, with the stroke of a pen, the Feds will go back to arresting everyone caught with ANY pot at all. Ya know, I knew that, but it had slipped to the back of my consciousness. It's an issue that needs handled ASAP!
