We can call it "Warm/Fuzzy PC Gun Owners' Day".

Congratulations for finding this rare anecdotal instance, of
sensible gun ownership that actually bodes well for the innocents,
and poorly for criminals and racists.

There are bad people who will attack you if given the chance. Happens daily across the country. Cops can't help you in the heat of the moment. We all have a right to defend ourselves. No need to make it about race or gender or anything other than a human right.

And there are plenty of examples of people defending themselves, probably saving their lives, by being armed.

I don't think the woman in question would have stopped those thugs with an article about how she was statistically safer without a gun.

I have no doubt guns are sometimes needed.

Glad this woman seems to have used hers sensibly,
AND I'm glad her having a gun and using it well, didn't
spark an exchange of fire, where someone got hurt or
killed.

Thank you.

It could have gone a different way, that is true.

But it wasn't going too well from the outset.

I am glad the victim is safe and the perps are locked up.

The thugs fired back as they ran away. One thug was wounded in the chest but is in stable condition in the hospital. She is glad that he will live, and her family is glad that she is safe.

Shots were exchanged, one of robbers shot in chest.

I didn't watch the whole thing before I posted about it
being "rare".

Still glad it went well for decent law-abiding innocents.
