Related: About this forumGun maker's other revenue stream
long story short, if you play Call of Duty etc, you are lining the pockets of Colt, FNH, etc.
Other question, is it hypocritical for "ant gun" people to play video games like call of duty?

I seriously doubt any organized boycott of games that license firearm likenesses will hurt gamemakers. If anything, it's easier for me to envision the media attention devoted to this supposed controversy will be like free advertizing for targeted games. This buzz will fuel additional sales.

It's fairly simple.
Product placement is everywhere. Everywhere. Don't be shocked if it shows up in video games.

I was using the generic "you". Sloppy writing on my part.
