in the 50s and 60s, evading laws by delay and subterfuge. Such is the morally spell-binding hold of prohibitionism. Ironic, that the the Jim Crow era South got slapped with the 14th Amendment, the same "hammer" being used now. One positive development for all: The court actions may re-enforce future rulings concerning a woman's right to choose, as in the recent Alabama ruling.

Don't know what is going through Kamala Harris' mind, but as the author points out, her gamesmanship could be very costly. Not just to the cause of gun restriction - but to her own political career as well.

is one of trying to ban possession and sale of guns, and outlawing authorized dealers and gun shows in SF. She chronically uses legal tactics in her prohibitionist efforts. Banning guns is Core to her legal career. I believe her militancy Will include confiscatory actions.
