Pa. Man Shoots At Neighbor's Home Because Only Way He Knew How To Unload It

A Pennsylvania man fired two bullets at his neighbor's home on Friday and later told police that was the only way he knew how to unload a gun, according to the Bucks County Courier Times.

A Middletown, Pa. resident heard gunshots outside of her home in Friday afternoon. She then discovered that a window on her porch door was shattered, according to the Courier Times.

She then saw a man fire a gun in the direction of her home and run back into his house, police said.

Police inspected her home and then the home of George Byrd IV. They found two bullet holes in the fence separating Byrd's home from that of his neighbor.

When questioned by police, Byrd at first denied that he knew anything about the gunshots. Police then found multiple guns and rounds of ammunition in Byrd's home.

Byrd later told a judge that he fired the gun into the ground because he was unfamiliar with guns and didn't know how else to unload one, according to the Courier Times.

From the TPM source, the man was a felon, should not have had a gun. Enforce existing laws! NYC_SKP Sep 2014 #1

I know, I know, it's an NRA talking point. "Enforce existing laws!"

A convicted felon, and a liar, his acts should not negatively impact my right to self defense.

By Jo Ciavaglia Staff writer

A 31-year-old convicted felon accused of firing a bullet that broke a neighbor’s window allegedly claimed he fired the gun because it was the only way he knew how to unload it.

No one was injured when the bullet hit the rear window in the 400 block of Adams Avenue in Middletown around 12:30 p.m. Friday, but George Byrd IV, of the 400 block of Jefferson Avenue, is facing charges including persons not to possess firearms and discharging a firearm into an occupied structure.

Because actually solving a problem is just too complicated!

I think this calls for a "study"! If only the NRA would quit fighting "studies" then we could study this and address the real issues:

3D printers and plastic guns and ghost guns and things that go up!

Consider George Byrd Brevibacillus brevis brain.
It has that hard to capture alliterative quality along with mentioning an organism found in decaying organic matter.

Oh well, at least when I ran spell check, I got to feel proud of myself for spelling onomatopoetic correctly without looking it up first

...my relationship with spell-check would be somewhere between girlfriend and constant companion. It recently let me know that I couldn't spell "spell-check".
